Storing energy as black holes is so efficient and common that this type of energy is used across the galaxy. Exporting and shipping it to other stations or planets is a routine practice.
Specialized ferries have been created solely to export vast amounts of energy, charging entire cities and planets. With ferries, the energy can easily be sold or used as tankers to refuel remote fleets or stations.
