Factions
In Black Horizon, factions are the groups, organizations, alliances, civilizations and worlds who can be identified as having a unified larger goal. This could be a small raiding group of three pirates all the way up to a galaxy-spanning empire.
Factions are merely the term used to get an overview of the groups of people at odds with each other in the galaxy.
Major Factions
Galaxy-shaping powers whose reach and influence extend across multiple systems and shape the course of history.
Minor Factions
Smaller factions, regional powers, and organizations operating within a limited sphere of influence.
Historic Factions
Defunct powers, fallen empires, and factions whose era has ended but whose legacy still echoes.
Other
Factions that don't fit neatly into the other categories.
