Eulian Empire

Eulia started as a colony created by settlers who first visited the Eulian star and its system. The Eulian star is particularly bright and can be seen throughout most of the galaxy. The Eulian star has ever since been the symbol of Eulians.

Eulians have always had a strong state, with progressive political actions, universal welfare, and a strong grip on technology. After decades of conflict in the galaxy, Eulia and many other states joined together under the Galactic Alliance, a union lasting for over 3 centuries.

But the Galactic Alliance disbanded, and Eulia emerged reformed, reinstating old traditions. A new wave of Eulian pride and superiority was born, led by an Eulian emperor at the helm.

The Eulian Empire is the largest controlled area in the galaxy.

The capital, Eulia, is situated in the middle of the territory and is the core of the entire empire.

Raymoor and Parafena are industrial systems essential for supply and production throughout the empire.

Messen is a newly terraformed world with bountiful nature and life, and has become a sprawling living space for many middle-class Eulians. Wealthier Eulians might find themselves living on Baltis and the artificial worlds orbiting it.

Tastamir is the most secret and highly protected system of the Eulian war machine.

Officially, Eulia is a republic with a senate of senators representing each sector of the Eulian government. The senate is comprised of 5 members from each sector, who typically work alongside the sector's Governor. Throughout history, Eulia has had several political systems, but today it is effectively a dictatorship with a small council controlling most affairs, led by an Emperor who is strongly supported and favored by the population.

Though Eulians don't have the ability to vote for the central government, they are involved in choosing senators, but this varies from sector to sector.

Structurally, the empire has the emperor as the supreme leader, followed by the Imperial Council, then the Eulian Senate, and finally the citizens. Only since the new emperor has the council held more power than the senate.

The Imperial Council is composed of the heads of Eulia's military branches, its civil departments, and the Head of Senate. The highest military officer is the Grand Commander of the Imperial Fleet, who holds seniority over the other two chief commanders. In the event of the Emperor's death or incapacitation, the council convenes to elect a new Emperor, typically from among its senior members.

The Imperial Council determines the actions of Special Commanders in frontier and contested territories. These military officials operate under the council's direct authority, not the senate's.

Below the senate, the twelve core sectors are administered by Governors, who serve as the highest local authority within their domain. Each Governor is supported by the sector's 5 senate members.

The Tribune acts as the empire's judicial branch, overseeing all legal and judicial matters through its network of judicials.

Eulia maintains twelve core sectors under the direct rule of Governors, each holding broad administrative and military authority within their domain. Where Eulian control is contested or newly established, Special Commanders take charge, blending martial law with rapid infrastructure deployment. Colonial ventures operating in volatile frontier zones are led by Directors, civilian engineers and planners who coordinate construction and logistics alongside Fleet Admirals responsible for sector defense.

Eulian life is generally of the highest standard in the galaxy when looking across the entire population.

Eulia believes in opportunity and equality for all. They have a vast welfare system, universal income, and the most educated citizens of all.

However, Eulians live under the constant watch of the state. While they enjoy prosperity, they also face strict regulation and oversight. The state maintains a powerful intelligence apparatus, and dissent is rarely tolerated. Those who speak out against the empire may find themselves under investigation by the Imperial Intelligence.

The Eulian military is the most powerful force in the galaxy. It is divided into several branches, each with its own command structure and area of responsibility.

The Imperial Fleet is the largest branch, responsible for naval warfare and the projection of power across systems.

The Imperial Strike Force handles rapid assault and planetary invasion.

The Imperial Intelligence manages espionage, counter-intelligence, and internal security.
