The Dawn is a custom-built starship manufactured by master builders on Visiyett.

The ship is owned and operated by Uvos VII, a Surrian banker from a long dynasty of powerful, influential and wealthy individuals with deep pockets.

The ship acts as a private luxury cruiser — it accommodates 45 passengers and hundreds of service drones to cater and serve the passengers on board.

The ship is meant for pleasure and cruising and therefore only wields minimal weaponry; however, Uvos is usually accompanied by several guardships.

Flight & Design

The Dawn at warp

The ship is warp-capable and can therefore traverse the stars at faster-than-light speeds by warping space open in front and closing it behind.

From the top deck of the Dawn, passengers have an astonishing view as stars pass by vertically from top to bottom.

Although the ship flies horizontally, it lands vertically and maintains artificial gravity vertically like a tower standing at 212 meters tall.

Boarding

Exterior elevator sequence

The ship's exterior elevator provides access for passengers and cargo to the ground level where the ship has landed.

Escape Pods

Escape pod bay

The Dawn is outfitted with 15 escape pods with 3 seats each, for a total of 45 spots.

Each pod is hidden behind a shell and will spring open as the passengers board and launch the drop pods. The drop pods can steer themselves to the best planetary body for safe disembarkment and will, after a safe landing, output an emergency message.

Drop pod deployment stages

The drop pod itself uses 3 shells to help it descend. Folded in and close to the main hull, the pod is ideal for breaking through the atmosphere. When reaching a certain height the shells unfold to act as air breakers, which greatly reduces the speed of the pod. When reaching the ground, the shells fold back in towards the hull, lower themselves down and act like landing legs to ensure a stable landing.
