Council Complex

The Council sits elsewhere on Corrus Mir from the Stronghold. It is a massive complex, with the central building alone measuring almost a kilometer wide.

The complex serves as the primary base of operations for Cardinals and council members. The majority of the expansion, negotiations, and administration of the Consortium takes place here. It is also the site where new Cardinals are trained — the Consortium employs thousands of them, and at times most can be found in one place: the Council.

The Council experiences a lot of traffic, so it features its own air base. High-ranking Cardinals have the ability to land directly outside the council chambers, minimizing their walking distance.

The council building is a bright red, like many other aspects of the Consortium. Red holds significant importance in the Corrus religion because the red wavelength in color travels further than any other wavelength. It is believed that a bright, clear red will remain more visible than anything else in the millennia to come — especially towards the end of time. In practice this has little significance, but symbolically it has a profound impact on followers.

The building is adorned with carvings of Corr, and patterns of 5 and 10 can often be seen in Council architecture. These numbers were believed to hold religious value at some point, but their meanings have been lost to time. Their presence is still felt in the architecture today.
