A contested region of space that became the flashpoint for the current tensions in the galaxy.

In 330 AAF the Second Eulian Empire launched a campaign to seize control of areas in the Belt, driven by fear of expansion by the Corrus Consortium. This campaign began what is now known as the War for the Belt.
