The Eulian Monument

"Eulia" is the name of a bright star in the southern galaxy. Since the star and its orbiting planets have become the capital and center of power from which the Eulian Empire exercises its influence.

When first discovered, the Eulian star system had no habitable planets to sustain life. However, the first Eulians terraformed one of the planets into a beautiful garden world, and over time, a host of sprawling metropolises emerged.

To celebrate and commemorate this great achievement, a monument depicting the planet's transformation was created.

Around 4000 years ago, predating the current year of 331 AAF, an ideology was developed between two races in the galaxy: Korgens and Humans.

Korgens and Humans share no common evolutionary ancestor. However, they have each separately developed into a very similar shape and anatomy, to the point where one could easily be disguised as the other. With the same number of bones, similar organs, ten fingers, and ten toes, apart from different skin tones and hair growth, they look almost identical, especially when compared to other advanced life in the galaxy.

This similarity between Korgens and Humans led some of them to feel special and uniquely chosen for greatness. Under this revelation, they decided to forge a new world to suit both of them as a sign of unity — Eulia was chosen.

The Eulian Monument depicts Korgens and humans in unity, terraforming the planet, turning it from darkness into brightness. Critics of the monument have said it feels more akin to corruption.

Several human and Korgen factions came together in a great coalition to transform a simple rock around the Eulian star into a new paradise.

The terraforming process took a century and involved hauling massive asteroids of ice and carbon onto the planet's surface, followed by introducing organic life from Korgen and human homeworlds.

Over time, the planet became livable and perfectly balanced for unified Korgen and human life. This new world flourished with universities, innovation, and culture.

But it also became the breeding ground for a new ultra-nationalist movement, the first Eulian Empire.

Eulia developed into one of the most outstanding places throughout the southern galaxy. It was so perfect in the eyes of many Eulians that an ideology grew called the 'Eulian Way.'

Through minor conflicts and disagreements with the surrounding world, the Eulians decided to spread their way of life to the rest of the world. Initially through cultural exchange, trade, and co-development, but resistance was met, and instead, the Eulian Way was used as a tool to promote an ultra-nationalist and militaristic force in Eulia.

This led to the invasion of the planet Thanti in the year 3002 BAF, and the beginning of the first Eulian Empire.
